Not a good night for the Okotoks Oilers as they fell 4-2 to the basement dwelling Calgary Mustangs Tuesday night at the Father David Bauer Arena.

For the Mustangs, it's just their eighth win on the year, while the Oilers have dropped two in a row.

Oilers Captain Connor Chambers says they weren't getting the bounces, but the Oilers also didn't put in their best effort either.

"We can't make excuses on a game like that. We made too many mistakes tonight and I think we just ended up beating ourselves."

Matt McNair and Jordan Davies, making his Oilers debut, were the Oilers goal scorers.

They'll play a home and home series against the Bandits starting Friday in Brooks.
