Make it nine straight losses for the High River Flyers as they were dumped 10-1 by the Cochrane Generals Friday, December 9, and 6-1 Saturday, December 10, by the Coaldale Copperheads in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

The Okotoks Bisons, on the other hand ran their winning streak to nine games with win's over Coaldale Friday and then back to back wins against Strathmore including a 9-1 win at the Murray Arena Sunday, December 11.

The Bisons move past Coaldale into second spot in the HJHL's South Division, seven points back of first place Cochrane.

Some of the lustre may be coming off the Foothills CFR "AAA" Midget Bisons.

A week after losing their first game of the season, they could only muster a tie and a loss this weekend.

3-3 at home against the Calgary Royals Friday and then a 3-0 loss to their arch rivals, the Calgary Buffaloes Sunday.

The Bisons still hold a three point lead over the Buff's in the AMHL South Division.
