After falling to the Foothills Composite Falcons in last week's blackout game 38-0, the Holy Trinity Academy Knights are looking to once again be .500 on the Big Rock Conference standings as they welcome the Rundle College Cobras to town this Friday.

The Knights are 1-2 on the campaign and Head Coach Matt Hassett says being shutout to the Comp is going to make his team better as the season progresses.

"In the long run we're going to be better for it," he says. "We have to turn the page quickly, because we have Rundle College and it's going to be whoever wins this is going to host the conference semi-finals."

Hassett says they'll be in for another challenge when Rundle College hits the field Friday night.

"They're a very well coached team, they're very solid on offence and defence," he says. "We just want to play our game and just execute better than we did in the Foothills game, and I think if we do that and play for 4 quarters like we did in the first half of the Falcons game, we're going to be just fine."

The Knights head coach says there's plenty of positives from last week and some areas to work on for the Cobras this week.

"On offence just consistency, making our blocks, staying on our blocks," Hassett says. "Defensively just picking up our play in the secondary and tackling better. I thought that was the best game we tackled against Foothills, there's still work to be done there and just get better."

Kick-off goes at 7 p.m. at HTA.
