Okotoks, Holy Trinity Academy Knights actually got to play a little football for real over the weekend.

They took on the Strathmore Spartans, with the seniors winning 35-0 and the JV squad taking out the Spartans 22-0.

Coach Matt Hassett says it's been a long time between games for the teams.

"It was just kind of a relief to finally get out there and play a game after, what has it been, eight weeks of practice."

He says the teams will meet again Friday, October 23 at 6 p.m. in Okotoks.

Only 200 fans will be allowed in to watch the game.
