The High River Flyers beat the Medicine Hat Cubs Friday night 5-4.

The win puts them 8-25-3-1 season and ties them in the standings with Banff.

They are heading to Coaldale tonight to take on the Copperheads.

The Strathmore Wheatland Kings beat the north division leading Mountainview Colts last night 3-2 in their single game of the weekend.

Their win puts them at a 10-13-1-1 season moving them ahead of Banff in the standings into 4th in the south division.

The Okotoks Bisons hit the road this weekend as they're in Medicine Hat tonight and than off to  Banff tomorrow.

As for the CFR AAA Chemical Bisons they defeated the Sherwood Park Kings Friday night 7-1.

They take on the  Lloydminster Bobcats Sunday.
