The chucks are back in action starting Thursday night at the Medicine Hat Stampede.

A little different format this time out, as the wagons will race three to a heat, instead of four thanks to the smaller track.

High River's Jason Glass will look to win his third Medicine Hat title, adding to the two he already has from 2000 and 2010.

Glass sit's tied for fifth with Colt Cosgrave in the World Driver Standings, 49.5 points back of the leader Vern Nolin, who won in Saskatoon last week.

Glass draws barrel three in the 11th heat to start things off Thursday.

Okotoks Mark Sutherland is coming off barrel three in heat four.

He's struggled with penalties this season, which has him sitting in 25th in the World Standings.

Same story for High River's Jordie Fike who draws the number one barrel in the opening heat.

He's had an uncharacteristically bad start to the season as he's 35th on the 36 wagon circuit

The wagons run through to Sunday's "Dash for Cash" final.
