What a great day, the air smelling lovely with the trees and flowers starting to bloom, a light breeze blowing, the warm sun shining, and people gathering to help.

The Ethel Tucker Park was the starting and finishing point to give the Sheep River valley a spring clean up.

Old Mom Nature got a pre Mother's Day gift of newly planted trees too, Mayor Bill and his helpful sidekick planted a bunch.

Hamburgers, hotdogs, pastries and a selection of beverages were on hand as the volunteers returned with their yellow bags filled.

There was face painting and family fun in the park on such a lovely day, the library next door were celebrating with some comic book super heros.

Whether you came to clean up or you were just going for a walk in the sun, It was just one of those enjoyable days.
