Gas prices go up with High River having cheapest gas around

When you go to fill up your vehicle this week, you're going to notice the price jump at the gas pumps.

The gas tax was partially reinstated on January 1st and prices jumped up about 9 cents a litre in Alberta.

And High River still has some of the cheapest prices around the Foothills.

The average price as of Wednesday Jan. 3 is 120.9¢/L.

However, just a 20-minute drive to Okotoks will cost you 5 cents more per litre with the average price sitting at 125.9¢/L

Although at Costco in Okotoks the price for regular gasoline is at 107.9¢/L.
