With single-dose vaccination rates for Albertans age 12 and up is hovering at 72.8 per cent, the percentages of immunizations in local municipalities have only increased a small amount.

Generally, the 20 to 39 age bracket has one of the lowest vaccination rates, particularly in Okotoks and High River. In Vulcan, only 34.7 per cent of the people in that age range have been vaccinated.

Also, a fewer percentage of those ages 12 to 19 have been vaccinated compared to other age demographics.

A total of 4,332,883 doses have been administered, and only 42.4% of those 12 and up are fully vaccinated.

There are currently only 1,055 cases province-wide.


Here is the total percentage of people immunized with one dose of the vaccine:

- Okotoks-Priddis: 61.7 per cent
- Black Diamond: 54.8 per cent
- High River: 57.3 per cent
- Vulcan: 47.9 per cent
