My sister Marlena has provided this delicious “Christmas Season” treat.
Here is what she says about it:
What can I say other than, it can be enjoyed throughout the season, and this recipe is from one of my favourite TV chefs, Ina Garten.

French Chocolate Bark
1 cup whole nuts, roasted and salted (I used walnuts)
7 oz good quality semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
7 oz good quality bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
1/4 c crystallized ginger, 1/2" diced
1/2 c dried cherries
1/2 c dried apricots, 1/2" diced
1/4 c golden raisinsMelt chocolate, stirring and watching carefully so as not to burn. After melted, remove from heat and stir vigorously until
just warm. Pour over a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper so that it cover approx. a 9" square. Immediately top with the nuts and dried fruits, pressing them lightly into the chocolate.Set aside for 2 hours until firm. Break into pieces and serve at room temperature.

Merry Christmas! Enjoy!

Thank you Marlena. I might just make this one tomorrow for our Christmas Eve celebrations and snacking. Yum!
