For the Love of Kale Chips
My neice Christina has made these countless times and says they are a huge hit with everyone including young kids and dogs. My other neice Carly concurs.
So the recipe is courtesy of Christina and the photo is courtesy of Carly.
Needed:
Huge Bunch of Kale (curly Kale seems to work best)
Olive Oil 2 tsp. Or (Use the Jamie Oliver Rule of 2 glugs).
Salt & Pepper to taste.
Steps:
-
Wash the Kale really well and make sure it is very dry.
-
Tear the Kale off the stems into good size pieces.
-
Toss Kale pieces into a bowl and toss with Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper.
-
Take coated pieces and cover cookie sheet – do not overlap that much.
-
Cook for 8-10min at 350 degrees.
-
Serve in bowl.
-
Optional shaved parmesan cheese.
I have made these and enjoy them as a delicious snack.Great for movie nights at home.
The reason I don't have a picture of the ones I have made is that they are usually gobbled up before I can grab my camera.
Enjoy
