A May long weekend tradition continues.

The 27th annual Senior Bowl High School Football All-Star Game for graduating Grade 12 players will kick-off Monday, May 23 at noon at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.  

This North vs. South match-up features players from all over the province.  

The head coaches for the event are from the two Provincial Tier ll Alberta Bowl finalists from 2015.

Darren Olsen from the Provincial Tier ll Champion Foothills Falcons from Okotoks will head up the South.

He'll have plenty of familiar faces in his line-up including quarterback Trey Kellogg, running back Landon Rose, defensive lineman Liam Hamlyn, and linebackers Gavin Millard, Daylon Creason, Brendan Lowry, and Dustin MaGee all of Foothills Composite.

They're joined by kicker/punter Lee Fielden and defensive lineman Brayden Broderson, both from the Willow Creek Composite Cobras in Claresholm, and linebacker Jonathan Leggett of Okotoks' Holy Trinity Academy Knights.

The South holds a one game lead with 13 wins, 12 losses, and one tie.
