The Highwood Mustangs took another one on the chin in high school football Friday, September 30, dropping a 41-0 decision to the Tier II Foothills Falcons.

It gets better for the Mustangs though as they'll wrap up the regular season against a couple of Tier IV opponents this week with games in Taber Thursday, October 6 and Canmore Saturday, October 8.

The Falcons on the other had will have their hands full this Friday, October 7 as they square off against the Holy Trinity Academy Knights in their annual "Battle of Okotoks."

The Knights are riding a two game winning streak, including a big 37-7 win Friday, September 30 over the Rundle College Cobras in the City.

The Falcons remain the number two ranked team in Tier II with a record of 2-and-2.

Both the Highwood Mustangs and Holy Trinity Academy Knights remain unranked in both the Tier IV and Tier II ranks respectively.

The Willow Creek Cobras out of Claresholm had the bye this week.

They're back in action Thursday as they host the Chinook Coyotes out of Lethbridge, Thursday, October 6.
