The Foothills Falcons reclaimed the Tier II Provincial Football title over the weekend with a 69-15 thrashing of the defending champion, St. Joseph's Celtics Saturday in Edmonton.

Falcons running back Landon Rose led the way with 20 carries for 120 yards and five touchdowns in the win.

The Falcons put up some staggering numbers in the win, running the ball for 256 yards.

Quarterback Trey Kellogg, completed 12 of 19 passes for 343 yards and two TD's.

While back up Tyson Pitcher went 2-for-3 for 26 yards and a TD.

In all the Falcons put up 625 yards of total offence.

It's the first title for the Falcons since 2009.

In the Tier IV final, it was another year of bitter defeat for the Willow Creek Cobras as the Claresholm squad fell 30-21 to the Ardrossan Bisons.

It's the second year in a row the Cobras have lost out in the finals.
