High River and the rest of the foothills got a bit more snow overnight than predicted.

It made for some slower driving conditions as snowplows continue to clear the highways and town streets.

Upwards of 10 cm of snow fell in High River with 12 cm falling at the Calgary International Airport.

While some people are unhappy, the moisture is appreciated by farmers.

And if you're hoping for more snow, it looks like we could get some by the weekend.

The seven day weather forecast from Environment Canada says there's a 60 per cent chance of snow this Saturday night and into Sunday.
