The Dawgs, after a few rain outs, were able to get in a game Wednesday night and came from behind twice to win 7-6.

The Dawgs bats continue to be on fire as they smacked 12 hits in the win.

The Dawgs pitching stayed consistent holding the Dawgs in for another solid victory.

The Dawgs move to 13-5 now and half a game ahead of the Sylvan Lake Gulls.

Titus Dumitru (New Mexico State, NM) making the most of his hot start to the season with the Dawgs went 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs and launched his 3rd homerun of the season in the 3rd inning. Brenden Luther (Bellevue University, NE) would go 2 for 4 driving home 1 RBI in the victory. Logan Rumberg (George Mason University, VA) went 2 innings, allowing 4 hits, while striking out 3 of the 13 batters faced in the game. Rumberg would surrender 3 runs in the opening inning and the bullpen came in and shut down the Mavericks offense as the game progressed. The Dawgs pitching would only allow 3 runs on 5 hits.

The Dawgs host the Weyburn Beavers for a two-game series at the beautiful Seaman Stadium starting Thursday June 22nd with opening pitch scheduled for 7:05pm. The Dawgs and Beavers will square off on Friday night at 7:05pm.
