Former Big League catcher, Toronto Blue Jays Manager and now broadcaster, Buck Martinez will be the guest speaker at this year's Okotoks Dawgs fundraising dinner and auction.

Martinez, spent 17 years in the Majors with Kansas City, Milwaukee and the Blue Jays.

As always, the Dawgs will also honour the winners of their annual player awards and there'll be the usual assortment of live and silent auction items.

They'll also announce this year's inductees into the Seaman Stadium/Dawgs Hall of Fame.

Now, this event is always a sell-out, so you'll need to get your tickets fast.

They're $125 for a single, or $800 for a table of eight.

The event's scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the Okotoks Centennial Centre.
