The Okotoks Dawgs have continued to add pieces to the puzzle for the 2016 WMBL season.

The Dawgs added two catchers and two pitchers to the roster.

Joel Brophy and Tyger Liner will be behind the plate this season.

Brophy is a Sophomore catcher at Niagara University hitting .264 with two homeruns and 17 RBIs, starting in 39 games. While having an even better arm throwing out 19 baserunners and having a .970 fielding percentage.

As for Liner, he comes to the Dawgs from Linn Benton Community College with an All-Southern Gold Glove with a perfect fielding percentage.

Also from Linn Benton Community College is Liner's teammate Ian Scott, As a LHP posted a 4-4 record with a 3.77 ERA with 39 strikeouts

Closing out the new recruits for the Dawgs is Liam Stroud, a teammate of Brophy at Niagara University. Starting in 24 games for the Purple Eagles, registering 30 strikeouts and started in a team record 13 games.
