The Foothills Composite Falcons are headed to the regional finals next weekend.

They beat the Medicine Hat Mohawks yesterday, November 12, with a big 42-11 game.

They continue on their road to the Alberta Bowl but must beat Hunting Hills out of Red Deer in the tier 2 south regional final next Saturday.

Game time goes on November 19 at 1 o'clock at Falcon Field.

But unfortunately the Falcons are the only local team seeing any regional final action.

The Willow Creek Cobras lost 17-1 to the Bow Valley Bobcats yesterday.

The loss will end their 2016/17 season.
