The Okotoks Oilers won their third in a row, and second of the year over the Calgary Canucks as they handed the Cowtown squad a 3-2 loss Monday, November 16 at the Max Bell Arena.

After a scoreless first period, the Oilers Zane Kindrachuk sparked the Oilers early in the second.

Tied at one in the third, Jack Works, picked up his fourth goal of the season, shorthanded to give the Oilers a 2-1 lead.

The Canucks tied it up again, setting the stage for Dylan James to be the hero as he popped the winner just short of the 14 minute mark to give the visitors the win.

The Oilers head back to Okotoks Sunday, November 22, to play their home opener when they welcome the Camrose Kodiaks to the Pason Centennial Arena starting at 4:15 p.m.
