A much anticipated game between rivals USA and Canada ended up in a disappointing 3-1 loss for Canadian's in the World Juniors yesterday.

The Canadian Team took 8 penalties and just couldn't make enough magic happen on the powerplays to catch up to Team USA.

Team Canada now takes second place, and the USA heads into first going into the quarter finals. On a positive note - there's plenty of time for us Canuck's to get back into the game!

Philippe Myers took a big hit and is concussed.  He will be out for the quarter-final game tomorrow, and the remainder of the tourney remains to be seen.

The Canadians will head to Montreal now, where they will play in the quarter finals against the Czech Republic.

That game starts at 6 P.M. our time!
