More than 50 years ago Bragg Creek decided to host a yearly festival to bring people out to the small hamlet nestled in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains.

The tradition continues July 18 and 19 kicking off with an always popular pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by the parade at 10:15 a.m.

After that the grounds open at 11 with games for kids, adults, live entertainment, and a bunch of food.

On Sunday, it's all for a good cause with the Ride For Sight: Motorcyclists Fighting Blindness hosting its poker rally from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and a show & shine from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Just show up at the Bragg Creek Community Centre on either Saturday or Sunday and check it out. It's just $5 on Saturday and free on Sunday.
