Good news for those wanting to head south of the border for the May Long weekend.

The Canada Border Services Agency has announced that the Chief Mountain port of entry is re-opening for the season on May 15.

According to the CBSA, 68,000 travellers entered Canada at the Chief Mountain border crossing last summer.

The crossing is open from May 15- May 31 from 9a.m.- 6p.m., then June 1- Sept. 2 from 7.a.m.- 10p.m., and Sept. 3- Sept. 30 from 9a.m.- 6p.m.
