The High River Flyers split their games over the weekend in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

They were 5-4 winners over the Medicine Hat Cubs Friday night at home, but came out on the short end of a 5-0 loss to the Coaldale Copperheads Saturday.

The Okotoks Bisons on the other hand managed a couple of lopsided wins, Beating the Cubs 11-5 Saturday in the Medicine Hat, then heading to Banff Sunday where they handed the Academy Bears a 9-1 loss.

The wins move the Bisons into second spot in the Heritage League's South Division, just three points behind the Cochrane Generals.
