The Cochrane Generals drew first blood in their best-of-seven Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League South Division semi-final series against Strathmore beating them 7-2 Tuesday night in Cochrane.

The Wheatland Kings will try to even the series at a game each Friday night in Strathmore.

The Okotoks Bisons get their best of seven semi-final against the Coaldale Copperheads started Wednesday night in Okotoks at 7:45 at the Murray Arena.
