The High River Flyers wrapped up their Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League regular season on a losing note this weekend.

They lost 10-0 to Blackfalds at home Friday and it didn't get better Saturday on the road as they were shut-out again, this time 3-0 in Banff.

The Bears move ahead of the Flyers, who will finish the season in the final playoff spot in the South Division as they tumble to sixth.

The Okotoks Bisons faced the same two teams, with slightly better results.

They beat Banff 4-2 Friday, but were 5-2 losers to Blackfalds Sunday.

The Bisons are still in a dogfight for second spot in the South Division with the Cochrane Generals, who lead them by four points and with the Coaldale Copperheads, who trail them by two points.

The Bisons have two games to go as they're on the road Friday night in Banff and then Sunday afternoon in Strathmore to wind up the season against the Wheatland Kings.

In the midget leagues, the CFR "AAA" Midget Bisons tied their lone game of the weekend 2-2 with the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The Rocky Mountain "AAA" Raiders girls split their games, beating the Edmonton Fury 3-0 Saturday at the Scott Seaman Sports Rink in DeWinton but falling 3-1 to Red Deer Sunday.
