The climb up the Heritage League South Division standings is starting to look like a long one for the High River Flyers.

They're fifth, five points back of Strathmore and just two up on Banff and Medicine Hat.

They host the Coaldale Copperheads Friday, November 25, and Coach Tyson Avery says a win will boost their confidence, and their playoff hopes.

"They know how big this weekend is, and how big each weekend is from now on out. You know, they're starting to realize that you know, you take a shift off, or a game off, you're behind the eight ball. So, they're starting to work hard. They're starting to play. And they know they have to win this weekend."

The Flyers head to Strathmore Saturday, November 26.

The Wheatland Kings are in Okotoks Friday to take on the Bisons who are playing three games in three nights with games Saturday in Cochrane against the Generals and Sunday, November 27, in Medicine Hat against the Cubs.
