Chuckwagon driver Kurt Bensmiller picked up his second ever WPCA title at the end of the season last week.

He says a big part of this year's success came from his outriders.

"Those guys were phenomenal. I think maybe we had one second in penalties for those guys all summer. Until last weekend when I caught a barrel the outfit was pretty solid, including the 10 days in Calgary. If you don't have good guys like that riding for you, you're going to be in trouble. It doesn't matter how fast you are."

Bensmiller had a great Summer winning in back-to-back-to-back weeks in High River, Ponoka and Calgary.
