A big 6-0 win for the Calgary Flames Wednesday night over the Florida Panthers at the Dome.

Sam Bennett was a one man wrecking crew as he, at 19 years and six months, became the youngest Calgary Flame to ever record a hat-trick as he scored four goals in the win.

He says he was just in the right place at the right time.

"It really is amazing. Crazy, just from bounces going your way to not going your way. It's amazing what can happen. I was just fortunate tonight."

High River's Corban Knight suited up for the Panthers in his return to the Dome since being traded last season.

He says the Panthers came out flat and the Flames took advantage of that.

"We dug ourselves a hole pretty quick and just weren't able to recover from throughout the game. There's lot's to learn from tonight and we definitely don't want that to happen again. Moving on we've got to make sure we correct some of the issues."

The Flames hit the road for the next five games starting Saturday in Edmonton.
