Okotoks Oiler Eric Parker is headed to Bowling Green

Another member of the Okotoks Oilers is off to college in the U.S..

Defenceman, Eric Parker from Calgary has committed to Bowling Green University.

Located in Bowling Green, Ohio, the Falcons play in the NCAA’s Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

The 18-year-old Parker is in his sophomore season with the Oilers and sits with 13 points including four goals in 26 games.

The Falcons are led by first year Head Coach, Ty Eigner.

Parker is the 4th Oiler on the 2019-20 roster to commit to a NCAA Division I Institution.

He joins: Carson Dyck who's headed to Penn State University, Dylan James who's off to the University of North Dakota and Brett Moravec who's committed to the University of Wisconsin.
