Provincial hockey comes to Nanton this weekend with the "AA" Senior Alberta Hockey Championships.

The Nanton Palominos are hosting, as defending champions.

Coach Steve McMasters says there won't be any easy games as they look to repeat.

"Only being a four team tournament, every other team here earned their way in. It's going to be some stiff competition."

The Palominos play their first game Friday night at 8 o'clock against the Daysland Northstars at the Tom Hornecker Arena.
