For the first time in 20 years someone not named "McFarlane" is in charge of the Okotoks Bisons.

Brent Trevors has taken over the General Managers role.

He says it's like being given the keys to the cadillac of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League.

"I'm getting a good organization, it has been run well for 20 years. It's been successful. Hopefully I can continue the success", he says.

The Bisons play a split squad game on September 9th against Airdrie and High River at the Murray Arena.

They wrap-up the pre-season in High River against the Flyers on September 11th, and then kick off the regular season that Friday at home to Coaldale.
