It was a great day for locals in Saddle Bronc with two locals qualifying for the finals on Sunday.

Layton Green from Millarville finished first in Pool B on Wednesday with Nanton's Quinten Taylor placing in third.  Another Albertan Logan Hay from Wildwood came in second after three days of riding so all three qualify for the finals on Sunday.

It wasn't the case though for other locals on Wednesday.

Jonny Webb from Okotoks wasn't able to qualify in Steer Wrestling, same for Okotoks' Jordan Hansen, who now lives in Amisk, in Bull Riding and Kylie Whiteside from Longview in Barrel Racing.

The final pool, Pool C, gets underway this afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
