Children of Black Diamond will now be able to play at a familiar spot after two years of reconstruction thanks to the 2013 flood.

Wulrich Park has been re-opened to the public after an special ceremony tuesday afternoon.

The park received finanical support from the Canadian Red Cross and the money received from the Disaster Recovery Program.

The playground equipment was replaced at no cost to any tax payer dollars in town.

Black Diamond Town Council wanted the park to be opened in time for the Christmas break to allow kids to be able to play at a place they once frequented before the flood.
