The Crescent Point Field House will be home to a special fundraiser promoting one's well being and helping the Okotoks Food Bank.

There will be a New Year's Eve Zumba and Yoga session put on by Tamara Boivin and Taunya Porter.

Porter says those who come out will get a chance to experience something new to start off the New Year.

"Zumba is a very high energy and the Yoga just will give people a chance to connect with themselves a little bit more and bring everything together and maybe set some new intentions for 2016," she says.

Anyone can join Boivin and Porter on New Year's Eve morning all it takes is a $10 donation.

"We're teaming up with the Okotoks Food Bank, we did it last year but we only did Zumba last year," Boivin says. "So I thought that bringing in a little bit of Yoga love would be a perfect fit and maybe it would be conducive for a few more people, we would love as many people to come."

All participants have to bring to the fitness fundraiser is water, running shoes and a yoga mat along with their hearts to help to food bank.

"Especially if you're going to party and finish it off a crazy holiday season with cookies and maybe a few drinks its a great way to go into that night."

The Zumba/Yoga fundraiser starts at 10 a.m. and goes till 11:30.
