The 2015 Okotoks Women's Conference had a great showing Saturday, with plenty of seminars engaging patrons all through out the day.

The conference included human behaviour specialist Kim Gordey as the keynote speaker to kick the event off.

One of the attendees Cailey Pollard says the conference was a great way to meet new people and learn new things.

'This is something that I would have not really done," she says. "A friend brought me and I'm glad that she did because it's not something that is natural to me, I think a lot of ladies here it is natural to them and I think I'd do it again."

There was quite different sessions to take in at the conference including sessions on health and wellness along with finance options.

Nancy Schmutz who was able to enjoy the day with members of her family can't wait to go again next year.

"I was able to spend the day with my daughter, and it was about women coming together and sharing things," she says. "Including things we've done before and things we're open to for healing and for well being and just happiness being together."
