A woman, believed to be in her 40s, had to be flown to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary after a single vehicle rollover Sunday afternoon just south of Stavely.

EMS crews from Claresholm, Nanton and Vulcan responded to the crash at Range Road 272, between Township Roads 140 and 134.

An SUV with four occupants, three children and one adult, were in the vehicle.

Two of the four occupants required transport to hospital.

A school-age male, was transported by ground ambulance to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in stable, non life-threatening condition, suffering from a number of minor injuries.

The older woman was assessed on scene by EMS and then flown to the Foothills Medical Centre by STARS, suffering from a possible internal injury, but was considered stable and in non life-threatening condition.

The remaining two children were assessed by EMS, and determined to be unharmed and did not require further treatment.
