Okotoks RCMP have identified the woman involved in the Wild Rose Jewellery store theft back in April.

Authorities are looking for Lina Mae Lafond, who allegedly walked out with gold and diamonds from the store's display case.

The theft is valued at around $15,000.

Lafond is described as being 35 years old with red hair and glasses with a large scar on her face.

It's unknown if she had assistance with the theft as there were other people in the store when the incident took place.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lafond are asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
