The National Fire Fit games wrapped over the weekend at Spruce Meadows with High River Fire Fighter Ryan Wiebe posting a personal best time.

He was just 6/100ths of a second over two minutes and has shaved time off each run he took this year.

He's says, not bad for a 42 year old.

"There was one guy who was 60 years old, Cyril was his name, with the Halifax Fire Department and he actually broke the record for 60-plus with a 1:40 time. The guy's a machine, if I'm like that at 50 I'll be impressed!"

Wiebe says he'll continue to train over the Winter and hopes to convince his twin brother Shawn, with the Nanton Fire Department, to join him next season.
