We're just over 24 hours away from the 2nd Annual Lemonade Day in the Foothills and vendors for this year's event in Okotoks gave a sneak peak of what they'll be selling on Saturday.

At the final Lemonade Day mentor session Wednesday night a special lemonade tasting took place and special guest judges, including The Eagle 100.9's drive home host Dan Bascombe, handed out the best in show.

Taking home the best tasting lemonade was the Rocking 80's Slushinade stand with Peta Wright & Emily Goodyear. Wright says it was quite the honour receiving the best tasting lemonade award.

"I felt really happy, confident and surprised," she says.

Coming in second was Hang Loose Inc. and in third was 3rd Wheel with Charlie Domareski and Jonah Keyworth.

Wright, who will set up shop at Sobeys on Saturday, says her key to success was ice.

"I saw a lot samples didn't have ice so I thought ice would help because it would be refreshing on a hot day."

She says she's learned a lot over the past few months on how to run a small business.

"You have to spend your money in consideration, you can't just go and blow it because then you'll lose that amount of money when you get your profit."

Various stands will be set up all over town, for complete Lemonade Day details click here.
