EMS were called to an accident outside of Vulcan around 10 o'clock Saturday morning.

The accident took place in the vicinity of Highway 842 and Highway 534.

A west bound motorcycle went off the highway and entered the north ditch.

There was a single person found injured at the scene, the driver of the motorcycle, a male believed to be in his 50’s.

This person was transported by ground paramedics in critical, life-threatening condition to the Vulcan Community Health Centre where he succumbed to his injuries. He had suffered from a variety of traumatic and internal injury.

RCMP are now currently investigating the crash.

The name of the deceased is not being released at this time.
