Another crash on Highway 2 south of High River Friday afternoon, a day after a fatal crash on the same stretch of road yesterday.

RCMP say one person was taken to hospital in non-life threatening condition while the drivers of both vehicles were treated on scene and released.

High River Fire Chief Len Zebedee has one request of drivers.

"If we could just ask people to take a little more caution on the highways, we've been out to a number of motor vehicle collisions over the last little while and it's just people driving way too fast and not paying attention," Zebedee says.

Friday's crash happened in an area where crews are re-chipping and repainting the road and one vehicle smashed into one of the highly-visible trucks painting lines on the road.

The speed limit through that area is 80-kilometres per hour.
