The Okotoks and District Chamber of Commerce Trade and Lifestyle Show wound up yesterday evening.

Lisa Legere, Owner of Benjamin Moore and Okotoks Decorating Store

For many local businesses and the Okotoks Chamber, it was a successful day.

Owner of the Benjamin Moore Okotoks Decorating Store, Lisa Legere says, she and her staff loved meeting new people in the community.

"It's the whole purpose of the Trade Show just to meet and greet with the community and feel more a part of everything, that's what we like to do." Legere adds "I'm going to assume we gave out at least 500 of our coupons, so it was a good response!"

Traffic didn't slow down in the next arena, as Elaine Baker, Co-Owner of the Bone and Biscuit says they met a ton of new customers and even neighbors.

"We're really glad we participated this year, its provided a real great opportunity to immerse ourselves into the community and meet some really great vendors"

Baker shares that it was an excellent opportunity to really meet other businesses and Chamber Members, specially since their store is so new.

"We are 4 weeks old as of Friday! We've seen a lot of traffic here today, I love all the people that we've met, and we're really enjoying ourselves here that's for sure!"
