Slick sidewalks and driveways are an issue many Okotoks residents are trying to combat.

The Town is offering free sand for residents to pick up at the Eco Centre and both fire halls on Milligan and Woodhaven Drive.

The sand will be available as long as the Town feels it's required over the winter.

Residents are asked to the bring their own buckets.
