The Rotary Performing Arts Centre welcomed their 2nd of their five different performances to their Room Full Of Sound event last Saturday.

The event is designed to bring in an up and coming local musical talent to open the show for the headliner which was Tommy Banks alongside his friend Bruce Innes on guitar.

Banks a preeminent jazz pianist was excited to be a part of Room Full Of Sound.

"Musicans tour by defintion, the music business is a business touring and playing in various places, it's the nature of the business... you travel," he says.

Despite spending so much time on the road, Banks says he enjoys playing with Innes no matter the venue.

"We're both busy working and playing, making music as well all over place and I think we will until we can't anymore."

For Innes he says he was fortunate enough to get the call from Room Full Of Sound to be a part of the event finally.

"Rick (Harding, RFOS Coordinator) and I talked about to doing this show and the premise of the show is to get a an up and coming group like Elbow River and a star who would be Tom, and I said I'd do it."
