A suspicious vehicle drew the attention of the Foothills County RCMP this past weekend.

They were dispatched at about 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, to check it out, and ended up laying charges to three different people and seizing over a thousand grams of drugs.

After locating the vehicle in the Aldersyde industrial area, police spoke with the three people inside, all from Calgary, to find that the driver, Jay Bridgman, 50, was actually under 24-hour house arrest.

He was arrested and has been subsequently charged for breaching a court order three times.

Bridgman, as well as Sarah Jane Turner-Stewart, 22, and Samara Astalnok, 22, were all charged with the following.

- Possession for the purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
- Possession of stolen property over $5000

Turner-Stewart was also charged for breaching a court order.

A stolen vehicle from Calgary was recovered, and police seized 1,114 grams of Methamphetamine, 110 grams of Cocaine, and 93 grams of Fentanyl during the investigation.

After their judicial hearings, Bridgman and Turner-Stewart remained in custody with Astalnok released but expected to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on Sept.10.

Bridgman is scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court the same day, Sept. 10, with Turner-Stewart in Calgary Provincial Court on Sept. 8.
