Yesterday, the first ever Taste N' Task car rally came to the Foothills.

Teams of four gathered together and ran around the Foothills to complete various tasks and have fun, all in an effort to raise money for the Okotoks Arts Council.

All tasks were designed in the spirit of the events theme "art and culinary".

Proceeds raised from the event are going to support the programs put on by the OAC.

Linda MacCallum, President of the OAC, says it was great to get people involved in a community event.

"The day was really fun, the group that came out today were just so much fun. It's so great to see people come out and get involved in community things. It warms my heart", she says.

The winner of the 2016 Taste N' Task car rally was team "Driving Blind", who in the spirit of halloween were dressed up like little blind mice.
