The Dewdney Players are at it again, providing outdoor entertainment and family fun with their summer presentation, of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Opening night was on Thursday and the show received rave reviews from guests.

Director Jody Sanderson says, it's family friendly but it's not the Disney classic that some might expect.

"It's still Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but we've added some elements that I think would be a little unexpected at this point."

With a cast ranging from 12 years old to mid 40's, talent truly rings through the park.

Sanderson says before you see the show, check out their website for a background on the local actors and talent involved.

"Go online, and check out Dewdneyplayers.com, it's got more information, not only about logistics of the show, but it also features the cast and crew as well." She adds "I always like to know who's doing what and what their background is, and we have some extremely talented youngsters that are worth a look."

Show times continue until Aug. 6th, with two show times this Saturday and one on Sunday.

You only need a donation to purchase your tickets, Sanderson says, Bring a chair - they'll provide the rest.

"Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, there's a porta-potty at the Landmark site so you're covered there, there's a concession stand where people can purchase pop, chips, smokies and hot dogs and the performance itself is by donation."
