Sun's out Fun's out!

Temperatures are on the rise making it feel rather mild outside, almost tropical compared to our recent arctic freeze.

Many locals are taking to the street's making time to get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine while soaking up vitamin 'D'.

Landmarks free skate was a busy place to be.  There was free hot chocolate, treats, a fire pit for those less coordinated skaters, and music.  That free event will happen every saturday (weather permitting) from 11-3 in the outdoor rink right beside Old Town Plaza.

If free skating wasn't enough there was also people out on the walking trails accompanying their furry companions who also looked like they were enjoying the sunshine, cross country skiing or sledding down the Dr. Morris Gibson Elementary School hill.

If you're looking for things to do today, the Old Fashion Skating Party is going on at the out door rink by the Rec-Plex in Okotoks from 1-3 P.M.
