With these record high temperatures it's hard to believe two years ago today there was snow on the ground.

These days the sun is shining, there's not a cloud in the sky and it's driving Okotokians outside to enjoy the weather.

Sheep River was filled with families cooling off and at the Crystal Shores Beach House you can find locals tanning, fishing and paddle boarding.

Though it's hard to worry about anything during these spring days locals are to be cautious about the above normal temperatures.

Environment Canada has issued an alert that advises locals to keep hydrated, dress appropriately, and spend a few hours each day in a cool place.
